Background 
Conservation Halton (CH) was created to protect, restore and manage the natural resources in our watershed but we have grown to become so much more. Today, we protect our communities and conserve our natural environment through planning, education and recreation and to support our partners in the creation of sustainable communities within our watershed. 
Conservation Halton is looking to implement an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as part of our recruitment process to improve efficiency, reduce potential for bias, and streamline practices for a positive candidate experience.

The primary goal is to implement an ATS that will streamline the recruitment process from end to end. This system will intake candidate applications, facilitate the entire recruitment workflow, track applicant/candidates progress throughout, and ideally integrate with CH's existing Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Dayforce. Key functionalities include having a centralized database of information, the ability to share job applications with hiring managers for review and shortlisting, as well as leveraging metrics and analytics from the gathered data for reporting purposes. 
Currently, CH does not have an ATS, and all application screening and reviewing are conducted manually by the Human Resources team. This project aims to automate these processes, increasing efficiency and accuracy in recruitment.
