Conservation Halton is seeking written proposals from qualified firms or individuals to update the Kelso and Hilton Falls Dam Safety Reviews.

The DSR update shall be completed in accordance with the recommended technical standards or technical guidelines as established by the Canadian Dam Association and Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. The DSR will validate the existing assessments and identify any additional steps required for the safe operation, maintenance, and adequate surveillance of the dam. The Study will also identify any required major rehabilitation works. All identified issues are to be prioritized. The above work is to be summarized into a DSR Report. The DSR Report is to include a mitigation strategy for each prioritized issue, along with preliminary costs associated with the solution. The potential mitigation strategy and costs are to be sufficiently detailed to support budget forecasting, and the preparation of future RFPs/RFTs as may be required.
